Dolls by Heinrich Handwerck
Heinrich Handwerck was a German Dollmaker who bought in bisque heads from Simon and Halbig.
The company was started in 1876 by Heinrich and Minna Handwerck making dolls near Waltershausen in Thurigia Germany.
The combination of Simon Halbig Heads and Hanwerck designs and clothe made this a very successful dollmaking company
Heinrich used to design the bisque heads and then they were produced by Simon and Halbig.
These heads were of very fine quality and workmanship.
They had their own range of Bebe and Dolly faced dolls.
The company was bought out by Kammer and Reinhardt in 1902.
K&R continued making Handwerck dolls until 1932 using the original molds
