Tiny Bisque Dolls

Tiny Bisque Dolls were usually all bisque and of course fairly small !
They were sometimes called penny dolls and were often sold by pedlars.

High Quality Tiny Dolls were made by Simon & Halbig and Kestner in fairly large quantities as an affordable small doll.

 

Various German and Japanes companies made tiny dolls of porer quality but a few French Tint Bisque Dolls were made and these are ones to look out for.

Tiny Dolls vary wildly in style from all-stationary ones right through to multi-jointed versions.
